The administrators, teachers and staff at Davis Leadership Academy encourage parents/guardians to become part of their child's educational experience and the school family. An involved parent/guardian helps his/her child honor his/her commitment to the Academy's high academic, ethical and service standards. We have many ways for you to help the school educate your child. We invite you to join us in this journey.

Wellness Policy

At the beginning of each school year, Academy parents receive instructions on how to set up an account in PowerSchool, an online resource that allows parents to see their child's grades, attendance, teacher assignments & notes, as well as an email account to receive progress reports. PowerSchool also allows parents to communicate with their child's teachers via email.  To access your account, click on the link provided PowerSchool.

Parent Leadership Team

Parent activists meet the third Saturday of every month at the school. During these meetings, parents plan class events such as Family Math Night, Family Reading Night and Family Movie Night. They also participate in school-wide events/fund raisers such as Harvest Fest in October, holiday dinners at Thanksgiving and Christmas and the annual Holiday Bazaar in December, and the Talent Showcase in April.

Parent Univeristy

The Academy provides all parents the opportunity to take part in Parent Univeristy.  Held on weekends, parents are able to take part in various workshops to help support their child academically in the home.

For more information about the school, please see the school's profile on the state's website, as well as the school's NCLB report card.

*The wellness policy is currently under review. We invite parents and students to give their input
